Too Good To Go, the self-proclaimed ‘social impact company’ are passionate about reducing food waste on an international scale; their app is currently available in 15 countries – with more set to join the movement soon. Their model is straightforward:
“When businesses such as “supermarkets, cafes, bakeries or manufacturers have too much food, they list it on our app. Consumers browse the app for businesses that have surplus food, then buy it for a great price, pick it up and take it home. The food isn’t wasted, the business offsets sunk costs, and the customer gets delicious food for a great price.”
