Finalists prepare to battle it out in Hull for British Street Food Award

The penultimate round of the British Street Food Awards took place over the weekend, as traders battled it out for the last two places in the final.

Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth hosted the southern heats and the winners were:

The finals of the British Street Food Awards will take place in Hull between 3rd to 5th September where a fantastic line-up of street food legends will be battling it out to take the trophy.

The 2021 finalists are:

🌟 Greidy’s – @greidyswingsandstrips The 2020 British Street Food Awards champions are back to defend their title.

🌟 Pellizco @pellizcouk – Danny uses a combination of classic Mexican flavours, using specialist ingredients that aren’t readily available in this country.

🌟 Kara’s Kitchen @karas_kitchen_st_food – Kara cooks her paella out of a quirky street food stall and all of her ingredients are locally sourced.

🌟 ROK Kitchen @rokkitchen – This past British Street Food Awards finalist, serving authentic Korean, wants to go one better this year and win!

🌟 Skullduggery @skullduggerydesserts – Dessert illusionists serving up everything from roast dinners to jacket potatoes and fish and chips – as cake!

🌟 Archchi’s @archchis – Prepare for an exquisite Sri Lankan ‘hopper’ menu.

🌟 Fire and Flank @fireandflank – They are all about steak cooked over fire, served up with a delicious array of sides.

🌟 Antojitos @antojitostruck – As an experienced chef in love with Mexican flavours, John wanted to do something exciting. So he did, and won the @scottishstreetfoodawards

🌟 Janet’s Authentic @janetskoreanchinesepontypridd – Janet’s handmade dumplings won the People’s Choice at the Welsh Street Food Awards.

🌟 Bao Bros 23 @baobros23 – their homemade bao and a crisp halibut filling impressed judges at the Northern heats of the British Street Food Awards.

🌟 Keralan Karavan @keralankaravan – Krish’s Bombay Tikka Taco, with Keralan-style curry sauce, wowed judges at the Welsh Street Food Awards.
