British Street Food Awards Winners 2023

The winners of the British Street Food Awards 2023 have been revealed after the finals took place in Hackney Bridge on 20th August.

After months of regional heats being battled out to see which caterers would be facing off in the national final to claim Britain’s best street food prizes, crowns have now been presented.

All throughout the competition there has been a big selection of NCASS members involved and competing, and we are so proud of our members that did so well, including none other than Scotland based Choola who won, to be crowned the best street food in Britain!

There were many other awards contested and lots of fantastic dishes served up, and other NCASS members to win awards include: Amani Kitchen taking home the award for People’s Choice, El Cabron Tacos impressed with their offering and won the award for Best Vegetarian, while It’s All Gravy scooped up the crown for Best Sandwich. Igloo Pizza Co dazzled everyone to receive the Best Looking award and finally, British Street Food Awards veterans LJ Hugs claimed the prize for the Extra Mile award.

What a haul that is for NCASS, and we are so proud to see our members succeed and being recognised for the excellence like this.

Choola will now be set to compete with some of the best street food traders in Europe at the European Street Food Awards this October.
