KERB launch first fixed site premises

KERB Counter will open its doors on 29th November 2017

On 29th November, KERB will launch its first fixed site premises, KERB Counter at its Camden Market site, adjacent to its coveted canal side location.

The site will be a “testing ground” providing “a chance for us to grow the opportunities we bring to our traders and customers through beer pairings, supper clubs and smaller private events.”

KERB Counter will ensure the brand’s position as an all-day food and drink offering with coffee being served in the mornings and wine, craft beer and cocktails in the evenings.

The first takeover will see NCASS members, Fundi, serve a six-strong menu comprising their inimitable, mouth watering pizza with an accompaniment of drinks such as Venetian punch.

In celebration of their first bricks and mortar site, the market will be staying open until 9pm on Thursdays throughout December, where you’ll be sure to find an array of festive dishes; think jerk turkey nuggets and truffle brie fettuccine alfredo, alongside some festive themed cocktails at Counter.

The venture is a sign of things to come for KERB; MD Simon Mitchell has confirmed the business’ intention to expand across the City and is reportedly close to securing a West End site. The proposed site will function as a mix of KERB’s original market stall style set-up, and a more permanent food hall fixture. It will also feature a Counter style canteen, although it will not be licensed.

As trailblazers of the street food movement, it was only a matter of time before these industry pioneers set their sights on securing more sites across the capital. Their influence in the industry can be felt at street food events the length and breadth of the country and we’re incredibly excited to see what they do next. Congrats team!
