Baked in Brick open first fixed-site

Street food entrepreneur, Lee Desanges has opened his first restaurant in Birmingham’s creative quarter. Bearing the same name as his much- lauded street food business, Baked in Brick, the restaurant is a 60-seat, licensed pizzeria serving artisanal pizza, fresh salads and charcuterie boards, as well as hand-crafted cocktails and a selection of beers from Midland’s based brewery, Purity.

Since its inception just three years ago, Baked in Brick has gone from strength to strength, winning ‘Best of the best’ at The British Street Food Awards, before coming home with the European title (plus best main dish, to boot) just one year later. Lee’s demonstrable passion for live fire cooking, his penchant for innovation and his all-around inimitable culinary genius have secured his successes to date and we’ve no doubt that the new restaurant will follow in the same vein.
