Nomination deadline approaching for NOEA ‘Caterer of the Year’ award

by Sophie Haigh | Aug 13, 2019

Deadline extended to 10th September at 5pm

The crème de la crème of the outdoor events industry will come together in November as the winners of the 16th National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA) Awards are announced; and caterers are being called upon to submit a nomination for their own business.

The Caterer of the Year Award is open to any in-house, external or outside caterer of any size or type, including mobile caterers. Entries are free and nominations must be submitted by 31st August, with the black-tie celebrations set to take place on Wednesday 27th November at The Guildhall in Bath.

The theme for this year’s awards is ‘Who’s Looking After Who?: Safety & Responsibility at Events,’ and will focus on the people and responsibilities that bring events together. NOEA will run sessions on the health and wellbeing of on-site staff, as well as welcoming guest speakers to the stage for discussions on what’s next for the outdoor events sector.

NCASS Managing Director, Alan Fox, said: “Whether you’re an organiser or an attendee at one of the UK’s increasing number of events, catering forms an integral part of your experience. We are so thrilled to sponsor this award which honours the thousands of caterers who work hard every year to bring great food and sustenance to event goers. Here at NCASS, we work tirelessly to give caterers a voice and so it’s great that the NOEA awards are shining a light on the caterers who work so hard to make this industry what it is today.”

The award for Caterer of the Year 2018 went to mobile bakery Belistore. Caterers who are interested in entering can do so by visiting the NOEA website and clicking here
