Coconut Chilli launches Bristol pop-up

The team at Coconut Chilli have announced the launch of a summer pop-up restaurant in Bristol’s premier shopping destination, Whiteladies Road.

A far cry from their humble beginnings on a farmers market stall in the city, the team will be bringing their award-winning Indian cuisine to the area with the hope of re-creating the same ‘convivial buzz of friends and family connecting over amazing, yet affordable cuisine,’ as found in the ‘Hill Station’ areas of Southern India where their menu finds inspiration from.

After catering for the needs of foodies across London for several years, founder Navina and Chef, Khilseh, have returned to their roots to serve up authentic dishes rich in the flavours that originate in the paddy fields and coconut groves of the Coorg region.  

Open from noon to 11:30pm on Wednesday to Saturday at the former Rosa Tapas site, guests can enjoy a bespoke menu featuring small plates, which can be enjoyed alongside local ales and a wine list curated by renowned Bristol wine veteran Raj Soni of RS Wines.

Coconut Chilli has catered for a host of events in the past few years, including The Big Feastival in the Cotswolds, Grillstock in Bristol, Diwali celebrations for the Mayor of London, the Evening Standard’s London Food Month and a celebratory evening for the Financial Times.
