Level 3 Online Food Safety Training
The NCASS Level 3 Online Food Safety Training Course is intended for supervisors and managers within the retail catering sector. Typically such managers or supervisors would operate in the following areas:
             Mobile Catering
             Outside, Hospitality Catering
             Residential and Care Homes
             Hospitals
             Bakery Shops
             Hotels, Pubs, Restaurants, Cafes , Sandwich Bars, Takeaways
             Schools and Prisons

Course Aims

The aim of the NCASS Level 3 Food Safety in Catering is to provide a knowledge and understanding of food safety principles and practices for supervisors / business owners working the in the catering and retail food sectors

Course Details

The course should take approx 8-12hrs to complete, it is broken down into 20 modules each of which is tested with multi choice questions before moving on to the next module. There is no time limit, the tests can be taken as many times as necessary to get all the answers correct, then you will able to move onto the next section. The questions are drawn at random from a bank and may vary each time the test is taken. Candidates must answer all questions correctly to be awarded the certificate.

             Contamination control
             Applying & monitoring good food safety measures
             Quality control
             Contributing to the food safety training of others
             Legislation
 
Course Outcomes

A knowledge and understanding of compliance within the relevant food safety legislation.
A knowledge and understanding of monitoring and recording good hygiene practices.
The manager's or supervisor's role in the implementation of food safety management procedures and systems.
Understanding the importance of staff training and the manager's or supervisor's role.

Access

Members - Online with an authorisation code obtainable from the NCASS office 0121 603 2524
Non members - By direct access online using a credit / debit card or by calling the office on the above number

Certificates

The A4 sized colour laminated certificates complete with trainees image are posted within 5 working days of them completing the course, uploading the trainees photo and paying the certification fee

Verification

The trainee certifies the name and address they have stated at the sign up stage is that of the trainee and at the end of the course they affirm that the photo they have supplied is also that of the trainee

Costs

Members - FREE unlimited number of candidates - There is a £10 certification fee, for each course completed, this can be paid online at the end of the course. Alternatively you can send in a cheque or call us on 0121 603 2524 to pay over the phone

Non members - £200 per candidate - pay with a debit or credit card and start the course immediately. No Certification Fee Required
